Sana Sana La Rana

In this project, my aim was to revisit the nostalgia of my childhood. I envisioned crafting a meaningful toy inspired by a widely known Hispanic tradition—a soothing riddle employed to comfort an injured child and swiftly reassure them. The practice involves a parent or caregiver gently rubbing the affected area while reciting these comforting words to bring calmness to the child.

“Sana sana colita de rana Si no sanas hoy sanaras manana”

Translation:

“Heal, heal, tail of a frog If you don’t heal today, you will heal tomorrow”
